Challenge
Create a new visual identity and strategy for Casal TV, an initiative designed to connect older adults from their living rooms through television, helping to reduce loneliness and promote social engagement without digital barriers.
Solution

A friendly, optimistic, and digital brand designed to connect with senior audiences through accessibility and joy.

Built around the conceptual territory “the community that gives you more life”, it reflects the genuine aspirational benefit the brand offers its users.

The logo features a freer stroke in the letter “L”, which becomes the core graphic element of the entire identity, the thread that connects us. This visual element conveys movement, connection, and vitality.

A verbal identity was also developed to speak both to users and their children, the key buyer personas, ensuring the brand connects with everyone it is meant to reach.

The result is a bright orange brand full of energy, ready to support older adults and help combat loneliness.

Process
  • Older adults spend an average of seven hours a day in front of the television. The TV is the most present device in their daily lives, but it is often used in a passive and solitary way. This prolonged routine, without interaction or stimulation, contributes to sedentary lifestyles and social isolation.

  • In Spain, 64% of older adults experience unwanted loneliness. Unwanted loneliness and social isolation are complex and growing social issues that create vulnerability and have significant effects on both physical and mental health, including anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and increased risk of mortality.
